Daniel Norberto Vérgez Hernández (Norby), falleció el miércoles noviembre 23, 2016 en su hogar,  rodeado de su familia después de perder su batalla contra cáncer.  Nació el 6 de junio del 1956 en la ciudad La Romana, República Dominicana. Emigró a los Estados Unidos en 1991 y vivió en Providence, RI hasta el día de su fallecimiento.  Era el esposo de Maria Vergez, padre de Daniel, Alexis y Benjamin Vérgez, abuelo de Maxwell y Noah Vérgez. Hijo de Felina Vérgez Hernández y del fallecido Luis Daniel Vérgez Cornier. Era hermano de Luis Vérgez (fallecido),  Luis Fernando, Minerva, Magalys, Hellen, Zenon y Dania Vérgez.  Trabajó para Bilodeau Property hasta Agosto del 2015. Su pasión fue la escritura,  la poesía y el servicio a las personas y su comunidad. El motor de su vida fue el servicio, hacer lo mejor y vivir su vida como si fuera el ultimo día y como decía: "Vive tu vida como que será tú último día y no haga a los demás lo que no quieras que te hagan a ti".

Daniel Norberto Vergez Hernandez (Norby) 60, passed away Wednesday 23th, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family after his lost his battle with cancer.  Born in La Romana, The Dominican Republic. He came to The United States in 1991 and lived in Providence, RI until his deceased.  He was the husband of Maria Vergez, father of Daniel, Alexis, and Benjamin Vergez, and grandfather of Maxwell and Noah. He was the son of Felina Vergez Hernández and the late Luis Daniel Vergez Cornier. He was the brother of the late Luis Vergez and he is survived by his brothers and sisters Luis Fernando, Minerva, Magalys, Zenon and Dania Vergez.  He worked for Bilodeau Property for 12 years until his deceased. Daniel’s passion was to write poetry and to service his community and people. His motive was to serve his community, do his best, and live his live like he said: “Live your life like that it will be your last day and do not to others anything that you do not want for yourself”.
