Funeral and Cremation Services

Elizabeth T. Wilcox (McLaughlin) 80, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 1, 2013 at the Heritage Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Smithfield.  She was the wife of the late James H. Wilcox, Sr.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Alfred J. and Irene M. (Grant) McLaughlin.

Elizabeth loved to cook and take care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She leaves her four grandchildren, John Wilcox, Jr., Scott Wilcox, Erin Tsangarouli, and Gail Agin; seven great grandchildren; a brother, William McLaughlin; a sister, Claire Guay; a niece, Lillian Joseph, who helped care for her; and two daughter in law’s, Susan and Sandra Wilcox.  Elizabeth was predeceased by her twin sons, the late John Wilcox, Sr., and James H. Wilcox, Jr. She was also the grandmother of the late James H. Wilcox, III, and sister of the late Alfred, Joseph, John, and James McLaughlin, and Dorothy Joseph.

Committal prayers and interment will be held on Friday, July 5, 2013 at 1:00 pm, in Mount Saint Mary Cemetery, 661 Prospect Street, Pawtucket, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited.  Visiting hours will be respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory can be made to the Cancer Center at the Memorial Hospital of RI, 111 Brewster Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860 or the Heritage Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Activity Fund, 80 Douglas Pike  Smithfield, RI 02917.
