Lawrence R. Linden, 62, of Cranston died Sept. 28, 2011 at Rhode Island Hosp. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late William and Shirley (Webster) Linden. He was the beloved father to Erica Vespia-Cronin and her husband John Cronin of Warwick and the late Lawrence and Russell Vespia.
Lawrence grew up in Warwick with his twelve siblings: William J. Linden of Warwick, RI, Carl A. Linden of Salana Beach, CA, Kenneth S. Linden of Warwick, RI, Don C. Linden of West Warwick, RI, Eric S.W. Linden of Oceanside, CA, the late John. R. Linden, Wendy C. Marrapese of Providence, RI, Christine C. Linden of Providence, RI, Deborah A. Carpenter of Providence, RI, Shirley E. Linden of Coventry, RI,
Gail E. Thomas of Mansfield, Ohio, and Grace E. Orr of Cuba, Illinois.
He served in the US Army in Germany during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his cherished grandchildren Greg and Mikayla Vespia and
will be missed by his best friend, Pepe the dog.
