October 3, 1940 - April 15, 2013
Thomas J. Casey died on April 15, 2013 at Crestwood Nursing Home after a long illness. He was the beloved husband of Joan Casey (Cloutier) for over 32 years.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Martha (Imbeault) and John Casey.
After serving his country in the US military during the Korean Era, he worked
as a salesman for Taco, Inc. in Cranston for many years before founding
Casi & Bessette Associates which he owned and operated with his wife for
over twenty five years.
Thomas leaves his children; Paula Ross of Cranston, Tammy Defunchio of Coventry, Thomas Casey , Jr. of Connecticut, Jeanne Bessette of Raleigh, North Carolina, Diane Dorsey of Warwick, and Denise Bessette of Tacoma, Washington.
He will be missed by his siblings John Casey of Florida, Martha Boss of Florida, Ellen Casey of Florida and Catherine Harnois of North Smithfield. Thomas was also the brother to the late Robert and Edward Casey and his late sister, Rose Marie Floody. He was survived by eleven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donation in Thomas’ memory to the Alzheimer’s Association of Rhode Island, 245 Waterman St. Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906 would be greatly appreciated. Burial will be private.
