Earl Fadgen Obituary

Earl J. Fadgen Jr. of Mill St. in Johnston passed away November 10, 2011 after a courageous battle with liver cancer.  He was a chemist for many years, most recently at Technic, Inc. in Cranston before retiring in 2001. Born August 25, 1939 in Clinton, MA, Earl was the son of the late Earl J. and Grace (Mitton) Fagden.   He is survived by his wife Julie A. (Laycock) Fadgen, five children: Keith, Earl, William, Denise, and Aileen Fadgen, four stepchildren: Eric and Gregory Martin, Candace Arling, and Steffani  Andriolao , and ten grandchildren.  He is also survived by four brothers: Paul, James, Neil and Kevin Fagden and two sisters: Jeanne Whitaker, Susan Lynch.  He was the brother of the late Thomas Fadgen. Abiding by Earl’s wishes, please join us in celebrating his life with an Irish Wake to be held on November 30, 2011, at 6:00pm in the Arena, 641 Atwood Avenue, Cranston, RI. Donations in Earl’s memory may be made to Beacon Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
