Francis John Burrows

Francis J Burrows, 76 passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully, on February 9, 2012 at home.  He was the former spouse of Phyllis (Bouchard) Souza.  Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Frances (Boulet) and Norman Burrows.  Frank raised his family in Seekonk, MA before moving to East Providence twenty years ago.  He was the beloved father of Susan and her husband, Marc Tohir of Arlington, VA, Gregory and his wife, Pamela of Portland, OR, Hugh and his wife, Sara of Aspen, CO, Kimberly and her husband, John Mayo of Seekonk, MA and Bethany and her husband, Kevin Sheahan of Seekonk, MA.Frank had a unique zest for life, and enjoyed many passions including a love of nature, gardening, reading and being active.  He was the co-proprietor of Franklin Rogers Clothier in Providence for many years.He is survived by his sister Nancy Borkman of Westport, MA and brothers Joseph Burrows of Maine, and Robert Burrows of CA.  He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews and special friends Linda Francoeur and Cynthia Shelton.  Frank will also be missed by his loving grandchildren; Hania and Luke Burrows; Wyllie and Connor Burrows;  John, Jacob, Joshua and Jaiden Mayo; and Ryan and Robert Sheahan.Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service ofMr. Burrow’s life Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 1pm, with a reception celebration from 2-4pm, all to take place at Swan Point Cemetery,  585 Blackstone Blvd., Providence, RI.
