Margaret A. Guertin, 67, passed away on September 2, 2019 at Kent Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Ronald A. Guertin for over 38 years.
Born in Providence, Margaret was the daughter of Barbara (Sidlik) and Robert Burns. She was blessed with two children; Christine Burns and Ronald A. Guertin, Jr. and a large family. She was the sister to Barbara Burns of Providence and Patricia Smith of Cranston and brothers; Robert of Ormond Beach, Florida, John of Coventry, and William of Warwick the Late James Burns. Margaret will also be missed by her loving grandchildren; Richard, Jaimee, Angelina, Tye, and Triston and many nieces and nephews.
Throughout Margaret’s life she had a deep love for her family. She enjoyed going to the beach, reading, listening to music. She always put her family first and enjoyed spending time talking and laughing at family dinners where she always concluded with her favorite tea.
Family and friends are invited to attend Margaret’s Funeral Service at 1pm on September 9, 2019 in the Chapel of Hope & Memory at Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Blvd. Providence, RI.
Burial will be private.
