OUR BELOVED QUEEN BEE
Mrs. Almira Amanda Judah Aguilar, age 97, passed away on June 3, 2020 at Charlesgate Nursing Home in Providence, RI.
Born in Havana, Cuba she was the daughter of Clifford and Agatha (Bennett) Judah.
Almira married Gilberto Rodriguez Aguilar of Havana, Cuba. They were blessed with five daughters of which four were born in Havana. Their youngest daughter, was born Connecticut. She was preceded in death by her husband Gilberto; and her two daughters Dora Stewart, Esther Aguilar.
She leaves behind daughters: Mercedes Hernandez, Sonia Aguilar and Miriam Aguilar; and 11 grand children, 37 great grand children, and 9 great-great grand children.
Almira will be remembered for her tenaciousness, strong will and love of life. She would often be found surrounded by a crowd of her friends salsa dancing to the music of her native country. She will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends.
Her services are private and will be held at St. Ann's Cemetery in Cranston, Rhode Island.
