Alpha Bendigo, 57, from Providence, RI, departed this world on May 31, 2022. He was born in Colon, the Republic of Panama, the fifth of five children, predeceased by his parents, Lucius and Verona Bendigo.
Alpha migrated to the United States at the age of 15, together with his grandmother, parents, brothers, and sister. He graduated from Hope High school and, from there, went on to be certified as a Tractor Trailer driver at Andover Tractor Trailer School. To earn extra money while in high school, he worked as a custodian at the International Institute of RI, Education Division.

Alpha is survived by his son Antonio, two granddaughters, Aniyah and Avioni, three brothers, Anthony, Andrew, and Anselmo, and one sister Audry.
His memorial service will take place on Friday, June 24 at 1 pm. Location, Swan Point Cemetery's Chapel of Hope and Memory, 585 Blackstone Blvd. Providence, Rhode Island, at 1 pm. A reception will follow at Gray Coale Reception Hall next to the Chapel.
