Ana Doris Gabriel, 90, beloved Mother and Daughter, was called to her eternal resting place on October 31, 2023. She entered this world on February 22, 1933, in Arecibo, PR, born to Cecila and Pedro Gabriel. She is survived by her daughters Annie and Cecil and her sons Pedro and Luis.

Ana was married for over five decades to Luis Gonzalez Ruiz, an Army veteran who served in the Korean war. Doña Doris, as most people knew her, and family lived together for decades in Levittown, Puerto Rico until her husband passed away in August, 2013, where he now rest in peace at the Cementerio Nacional de Puerto Rico. Later, Doña Doris sadly left Puerto Rico leaving behind her daughter Cecil to live her remaining golden years under the care of her other daughter Annie in Rhode Island where she was also visited by her son Luis who lives in Boston and her son Pedro who lives in Alabama.

Currently, no funeral services are planned, however, the family plans to take her ashes to the Cementerio Nacional where Doris and Luis will join once more for eternity under the loving arms de Nuestro Señor.
