Anita Louise (Moniz) McMullen

Anita Louise (Moniz) McMullen, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2025, at the age of 82 at St. Antoine's Residence in Woonsocket, RI.

Born in Providence, RI, Anita was a dedicated hairdresser, an avid fan of Elvis Presley and enjoyed playing the flute and writing poems. She loved her cats Jack and Bon Jovi, enjoyed attending church, and found peace in the Lord.

Anita was predeceased by her parents Alves Moniz and Clara (Crispi) Russell, her daughter Donna (Putnam) Smith, her son Gerald (Jerry) Putnam, and brothers Robert Crispi and Richard Moniz.

She leaves behind her daughters Tammy (Putnam) Routh, Joanne Klepal, and Krystal Klepal; her grandchildren Charlena Schubert, Tiffany Forrest, Jonathan Reeves, Hannah Reeves, and Nathan Rigdon; great-grandchildren; and her brothers Michael (Moniz) Disney, and Arthur Moniz.

Angels rejoice as she enters heaven with her mother and children. May Anita's memory serve as a light to guide you through dark days, a warmth to comfort your heart, and a joy to bring smiles to your face. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in those who loved her.
