Bruce Edward Warren, age 77, of Seekonk, MA. passed away on March 18, 2025. Bruce was born in Denver, Colorado.
Bruce graduated from Roger Ludlowe HS Fairfield, CT. where he was leader of the school band and Soccer team captain. Bruce earned an appointment to the Navel Academy in Annapolis however unforeseen circumstances led him to attend and graduate from Bryant College in Providence, RI. After college Bruce traveled through Europe spending time in Sweden crewing with the Olympic sailing team. Bruce was a buyer for Montgomery Ward in CA and a Buyer for Cherry & Webb in OH. Bruce was a skilled carpenter and returned to the Providence area to start Acorn Hardwood Floors where he installed exotic wood floors in many Newport mansions and the Herreshoff Museum in Bristol, RI. An avid sailor and seaman who was a member of the Seekonk Lions Club and Seekonk American Legion Post 311. Bruce developed many lasting friendships in the Providence area and was known for his easy-going good nature and having a laugh at his own expense.
Bruce is survived by brothers Kimm (Cheryl) Warren and Andrew (Martha) Warren, he was predeceased by his parents Milton Gene and Nancy Warren and also survived by stepchildren, Brae Poliquin, Brent Poliquin, and Mari Sawicki.
There will be no service, burial will be private. Donations in Bruce’s memory may be made to Hope Health Hulitar Hospice.
