Byron M Hiscox, III, passed away on April 17, 2023, in Providence, Rhode Island. Byron was born in Alexandria, Virginia on July 28, 1960.
In 1979, he began the National Guard as a Wheel Guard Mechanic for 5 years. This is where he developed his passion to cook. He was an avid fisherman and a high liner quahogger. He loved the ocean and loved to cook.
Upon leaving the National Guard, he worked for Adam Services Smoke Free Restoration serving as a Crew Chief.
He followed his dreams as a Chef on a cruise line out of Blount Marina in Warren, RI. He retired from the cruise line and moved on to cook at 2-3 delicatessens on the East Side of Providence - Deli Handmade and Duck Soup.
In 2002, Byron became a single father to his beloved daughter Kassandra Marie Hiscox. They lived together on Morin Heights in Woonsocket, RI with their two cats where they shared their love for the Miami Dolphins Football team until his passing.
He is survived by his daughter Kassandra Marie Hiscox, his mom, Bonnie S. Grande and her husband Joseph Philip Grande, his sister's family Cheryl and Michael Myers and their two sons Christopher and Andrew.
