Clara Virkler, 89, beloved Mother and Wife, was called to her eternal resting place on February 10, 2022. She entered this world on June 8, 1932, in Uncasville, CT, born to Frederick and Maude Ducharme. She is survived by her husband Douglas Virkler; her children: son James Collelo; son Michael Collelo; daughter Debra Malboeuf; daughter Nancy Lavallee son Peter Collelo; son Edward Collelo; daughter Lisa Devolve; daughter Terri Collelo; her sister Mabel Adams. She is predeceased by her children; Cindy Collelo; Charles Collelo; John Collelo; Vincent Collelo; Andrew Collelo as well as, her father Frederick Ducharme; mother Maude Ducharme. She was a homemaker untill her mid 40's before becoming a registered visiting nurse in Vermont and worked in hospice until retirement at the age of 80. She had a love for all 22 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She loved fishing, skeet shooting and playing bingo with her daughter Nancy. A graveside service will be held on April 23, 2022, at All Hallows Cemetery in Mossup, CT at 10:30 am. Reception to follow will be announced after the service.
