Cy J. Desrosiers, 38, of Woonsocket, RI, passed away on September 14, 2024. Born on July 13, 1986, in Attleboro, MA, he was a cherished son to Joseph and Sheila Desrosiers. Cy grew up in North Attleborough, MA and was known for his love of all kinds of critters, especially his beloved dogs.

Cy is a 2005 graduate from Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School in Franklin, MA. He was a car enthusiast so it is not surprising his career spanned various roles mostly in the automotive industry including auto body specialist, salesman, and finance manager showcasing his many talents and versatility. Outside of work, Cy was a passionate angler, often found fishing in his spare time, a hobby that brought him immense peace and joy.

He is survived by a loving family: parents Joseph and Sheila Desrosiers; sister Sheena (Carl) McLaughlin; brothers Kyle (Eileen) and Aidan (Courtney) Desrosiers; grandmother Shirley H. Semple; and his cherished nieces and nephews-Sheldyn, Dillan, Kaelyn, Gavin, Logan, Owen, Sutton, Keegan, Boden, and Finley. Cy is also fondly remembered by his many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cy was preceded in death by his grandparents Alfred and Rita Desrosiers, and William Semple; his cherished uncles Robert Desrosiers and Norman (Roger) Desrosiers; and his brother West Pierce.

Family and friends will celebrate Cy's life with private observances in Massachusetts and North Carolina, honoring a man who deeply touched the lives of those around him. Cy's and his fiery spirit, heart of gold, and love for nature, will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
