Kent Robertson, age 69, passed away on March 11, 2023.
Kent was born in Jackson, MS, and attended Murrah High School and Belhaven College.
He is survived by his daughter, Holly Kymes; son-in-law, Matthew Kymes; granddaughters, Mallory Kymes and Matilda Kymes; sister, Shellie Robertson; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Robertson and Alice Robertson.
Kent loved his friends and neighbors, Ole Miss, sports, nature, and his dog, Swiper. Every day he would stop at Dunkin Donuts for coffee where he was well-known as Mr. Sippi. He loved walking at Trustom Pond and visits with his friends there. He took daily trips to the post office where workers joked that he was there more than they were. Kent often visited Peaches Fruit and Produce. He had a job he loved and friends all over the country.
Kent's favorite charity was Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge where he walked many hundreds of miles. If you would like to honor him, go for a walk, feed some birds, and enjoy a coffee...medium with 9 creams.
A private Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Trustom Pond.
