Darshanna Thompson Obituary

Darshanna Marie (Gomes) Thompson, 50 years old, passed away at home Thursday, September 1, 2022. She was a life-long resident of Providence and a proud graduate of Central High School. She worked for the Providence School Department as a Teacher's Assistant for over 26 years. She is preceded in death by her grandmothers, Harriet Isom and Chelsea Gomes. She leaves behind three children: Jerell and Lanisiah Gomes, Brenton Barbour and four grandchildren all of Providence. She will also be missed by her brothers Russell and Kori Gomes and sister Marci Gomes and mother Patricia Gomes all of Providence. Father Russell Gomes of East Providence and boyfriend Robert Smith of Providence and a host of family and friends.

Her family and friends are invited to meet for a graveside service at North Burial Ground, Providence, RI, on Friday, September 9, 2022, at 1:00 p.m.
