Don E. Kollbeck of East Providence, RI, passed away unexpectedly January 14, 2023. He was predeceased by his father, Arthur R. Kollbeck Jr., his mother, Irene Kollbeck and older brother, Arthur R. Kollbeck III (aka Bob). He leaves his son, James D. Klingensmith and his wife and their two children, as well as, Don's daughter, Alisha Abbenante. He leaves behind sister, Joanne Frieberger of RI., brother, Joseph Ruscito of Florida, sister Maureen Mills and her husband Mark of Florida, Deborah Pixcito of RI, Richard Kollbeck and partner, Cynthia Gosselin of Plainfield, CT, Kevin Kollbeck and partner Terry of Florida, as well as, several nephews and a niece.

He grew up in Killingly, CT where the Kollbeck boys were well known by everyone, including law enforcement. He was employed by Gentile Auto Body for 25 years.
He had a passion for cars and motorcycles and could always be found watching football on Sunday afternoons. He especially loved his Patriots.
Don was always willing to lend a hand whenever he could and had a very kind spirit and a gentile soul.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
