Dorothy Squires Obituary

Dorothy F. Squires at age 103 passed away in Cumberland, RI on May 12, 2022. Born and raised in Central Falls, RI she attended Central Falls High School and graduated in her senior year.

She was the daughter of Herbert and Fannie Allen and was born January 18, 1919. After high school she met and married Frank Squires and they together raised a family of seven children: Patricia Thibert, James Squires, Judith Hall, and the late Frank Squires Jr, Maureen Marcil, Richard Squires, Janice LeBlanc.

Mom worked hard and worked up until she was 85 years old taking care of a handicap little girl and Mom was still driving at 90. When living on her own got too much for her she entered Grandview Nursing Home in Cumberland where for the last 10 or so years of her life was taken care of by so many caring and wonderful nurses and staff that made her life so full in her last years.

Her years of caring for us will always be remembered and cherished forever. May she rest in peace.
