Francis George Simonelli

Francis G. Simonelli, 76, beloved Father, Husband, Grandfather, Father-in-law, and Brother, was called to his eternal resting place on September 17, 2023. He entered this world on September 14, 1947, in Providence, RI. He was born to the late Francis and Louise Simonelli. He is survived by his brother Donald Simonelli; Maureen Simonelli, his wife of 57 years; daughter Dawn L. Mollo and her husband Dino M. Mollo; daughter Jeannine C. Lamantia; granddaughter Britney Conover and her husband Raymond Conover; and grandson Johnny Lamantia. Francis was preceded by his brother Billy Tartaglia; sister Brenda Simonelli; sister Deborah Simonelli; and godson James Holland.

Francis was a selfless man who always put his families needs above his own. He was also passionate about donating to St. Jude's and Veterans Memorial; two charities that were very near and dear to his heart. He was a self-taught artist, who was also passionate about music. Anyone that had the pleasure of being in his presence, knew that his lyrical choices were a reflection of his thoughts and feelings.

Funeral service will be private.
