Gary Dale Holloman Obituary
Gary Dale Holloman was born on October 15, 1954, in Stamford, Texas, and lived a life defined by adaptability, independence, and a willingness to explore new directions.
Gary's early career included work as a medical gas contractor, computer programmer, and truck driver where he applied his technical skills to projects that kept essential systems running.
Later in life, Gary shifted into education, teaching for the Long Beach Unified School District in California. Teaching allowed him to share what he knew and encourage students to build practical skills for their own careers.
In his later years, Gary met the challenges of Parkinson's disease with quiet strength. While he valued his independence, he found joy in traveling and experiencing the diverse landscapes and communities across the country.
Gary is predeceased by his first wife, Jennifer Ann Holloman, his brother Gene Holloman, and his parents James Carmon Holloman and Clarice Ann Penrod. He is survived by his son James Holloman of Rhode Island, and daughter Robin Camping of Idaho, as well as eight grandchildren.
Gary will be remembered as a man who lived life on his own terms - working hard, exploring new opportunities, and finding enjoyment in the freedom of the road, the classroom, and the journeys he took along the way.
