Gary McNally Obituary

Gary K. McNally, 63, beloved husband of Connie McNally was called to his eternal resting place on July 25, 2020. He entered this world on June 11, 1957 in Providence, RI, born to Joseph and Audrey McNally. He is survived by his wife Connie McNally, his mother Audrey McNally, his sister Donna McNally, his brother Mark McNally, his nephew Nick McNally and his niece Stephanie McNally. He was predeceased by his brother Paul McNally.

As a young man Gary worked as an orderly at Sturdy Hospital. His love for helping people quickly became his passion, he became a call firefighter in his home town of Seekonk shortly after graduating from High School. Gary went on to become an E.M.T. and in the early 1980's he was hired as a dispatcher for Seekonk. Continuing with his passion to serve, Gary became a Special Police officer after completing the police academy serving for more than three decades. From being a Police dispatcher in March, 1999, he went on to be a tour guide at Boston Duck Tours where he was known has Captain Foghorn.

A funeral service will be held at Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Boulevard, Chapel of Hope & Memory, Providence, Rhode Island on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at 11 am.  Please note we will be honoring the State of Rhode Island's COVID-19 guidelines requiring the use of face coverings and the limitation of no more than 25 people in the Chapel at one-time.
