Hidekazu (Hide) Yamamoto, 68, beloved husband and father, passed away peacefully in Providence at HopeHealth Hospice on December 1, 2024.
Hide is survived by his wife, Kazue, his two daughters Maki and Mariko, and Jesse and Taiyo, his two pets.
Hide grew up in Tokyo, Japan and moved to Providence with his family in 1988. He spent his days balancing work with being a kind family man. He enjoyed eating and talking about food, listening to cover bands, and going to onsen hot springs. Hide will always be remembered by many for his gentle spirit, easygoing nature, and his willingness to show up for others. His memory will continue to live on in our hearts.
His Celebration of Life gathering will be held privately.
