James A. Tindale, 88 years old of Narragansett, RI passed away at home on July 16, 2020.
Born October 15, 1931, in Schenectady New York. The son of the late James and Myrilda Tindale of Schenectady, New York. James served his country in the Navy during the Korean War between 1950-1954. James was eager to experience world travel and his Mediterranean Tours of Duty.
In 1956, James was employed by Gerber Baby Foods until retirement in 1992, once again enjoying travel. He lived at The Laurels in Enfield until February, 2013, where he then moved to Brightview at the Commons in Wakefield, Rhode Island. James enjoyed cooking, caring for his plants and billiards competition at the Pub. He entered Hospice in the beginning of July enjoying his last days with his daughter and son-in-law in Narragansett.
James is survived by his daughters Patricia Bickford of Glastonbury, Connecticut, Susan Gionfrido of Narragansett, Rhode Island and her husband, Frank. One sibling William Tindale and wife Mary of Duanesburg New York. He also leaves three beloved grandchildren: CJ D’Addario and wife Stephanie of Mooresville, North Carolina; David Bickford of Glastonbury, Connecticut; Kristen Bickford of Westbrook, Maine; as well as, his cherished niece and nephew William Tindale, wife Nancy Tindale and their children Noah and Micah of New York and niece Kathleen Kane and husband Ryan along with their children Abby and Natalie of Windermere, Florida.
Funeral services are private.
