Joanne Marie Morin

Joanne Marie Morin (Marrocco) 67, of Harrisville entered heaven on May 31, 2021, leaving behind her loving husband, Steve; and children, son Andrew Racine (Sarah), daughter, Lindsay Drumm (Kevin), son, Jonathan Racine (Heather); Julie Panico (Brian), Lindsay Morin (Tom), Jared Morin (Chanthaly), Josh Morin (Missy); 20 beloved Grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Marrocco (Edith); Sister, Joyce Drain; and the late sister Janet Mancini, and the late brother Alfred Marrocco. Joanne was born in Providence, daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (Rosciti) Marrocco. She was an Activities Director for Berkshire Place in Providence and other nursing homes throughout her career.

Joanne had a true zest for life, she was thoughtful, kind and had a big heart. She was a cherished mother and grandmother by her entire family. Her favorite thing was spending quality time with her husband, children and grandkids. She loved the holidays, summers at the cabin, cooking for her family, gardening, shopping, kayaking, and the beach.

Joanne passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Services will be private.
