It is with great sadness, that the family of John H. Marshall, 79, of Bristol, RI, passed away peacefully in his sleep, after a long illness, on April 8, 2021.
John was born in Providence, RI, on November 17, 1941, to the late John and Sylvena Marshall.
He leaves three children, John Marshall and his wife Aileen, of Richmond, RI and Todd and Wendy Marshall, of Bristol, RI. He also leaves four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He is predeceased by his sisters Kathleen Benevides, Delores Medeiros, and brother Robert Marshall. He leaves one brother, Richard Marshall, of Bristol, RI.
John owned his own excavating business, for over 60 years. He loved his work, and developed many memories with his children and grandchildren, with his various equipment. His passions in life, were his family, friends and his work.
On his free time, he loved to ride around and spend time with those important in his life. His hobby was collecting train sets, that he loved to play with his grandchildren.
He will be missed, by all that knew him. He was kind at heart and helped anyone in need.
Memorial services will be at St. Mary's Church in Bristol, RI at 10:00 AM, with a Burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, on Saturday, April 24, 2021.
