Kathleen Mary (Keegan) Davis Stewart

Kathleen Mary Keegan Davis-Stewart, 63, of Mattie St, died peacefully on January 4, 2022, surrounded by family. Born in Providence, she is the daughter of late Michelle 'Silkie' Card and Frank Ashness. She is survived by her two younger sisters Mary Girone and Velencia Tate and her aunt Gertrude 'Cookie' Dator, Sandra Hicks and her uncle Sam Keegan. She was the aunt of a niece and six nephews and has a host of cousins.

She leaves her husband and best friend, Joe Stewart , her daughters Paula Keegan-Orange, Destiny Davis, Christine Davis, Christina Davis-Coates, her son Alston 'Charles' Davis, and her stepchildren Angelina and Durell Stewart. She is the 'Nanny' of nineteen Grandchildren, three Step-Grandchildren and six Great-Grandchildren.

She continued the work of her mother running The H.O.P.E. Organization and founded H.O.P.E. II, a non-profit organization helping families and individuals in need. She will forever be remembered for her smile, her comforting laugh, and her passion for always giving.

Kathleen's calling hours will take place from 3-6 p.m. at the OLSON & PARENT FUNERAL HOME, 417 Plainfield St., Providence on Sunday, January 9, 2022. Guests will be asked to social-distance and wear a mask to attend.
