Kathleen (Ferrante) Turner

Kathleen (Cathleen) Ferrante Turner, 68, of East Providence passed away at home on November 9, 2023, after a long battle of illnesses surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Joseph A. Medeiros I by common law marriage and the wife of the late Gary E. Turner Sr. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Vincent Ferrante Sr. and the late Jacqueline Campbell Shaw.

She leaves behind two children, Gary E. Turner Jr. and Candy L. Turner. She was the mother of the late Jason Raymond, stepmother of the late Amanda Medeiros and Joseph A. Medeiros II. Her loving grandchildren Jared L. Barishian, Leilani J. Turner, Nicholas Eddy, Lacey Eddy, Joshua Eddy, Ethan Eddy, and other loved ones. She was the sister of Lisa Lindau, Dale Drapper, Donald Shaw Jr., the late James Ferrante, and Victoria Belcourt.

Kathleen was a home maker until her later years when she worked at Dunkin Donuts, and she became a CNA. She loved to do her arts and crafts, flower gardening and the ocean.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the mausoleum Chapel of Norte Dame Cemetery of Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Post Office Box 7312, Warwick, RI, 02887.
