Lisa Marie Dahl

Lisa Marie Dahl, age 56, of North Kingstown Rhode Island, passed away on Saturday, April 15 at her home surrounded by her loved ones and friends until she ascended to the heavens.

Lisa is survived by her son, Ian Dahl, partner Mark Vinbury, brothers Robert Paci, Jr and Christopher Paci, her nephew and godson, Terrell Paci, her stepfather, Joseph Actis, her Aunt and Uncle, Donna and Charles Conklin, along with many other close family and friends.

Lisa was born on March 8,1967 to the late Sandra (Gallonio) Actis and the late Robert (Bob) Paci. She graduated from Classical High School, and later from the University of Rhode Island with a double major in Spanish and Psychology as summa cum laude. She was a counselor and worked with individuals who experienced substance abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault. She eventually left her counseling job and proceeded to work various jobs until eventually becoming a certified yoga teacher at All That Matters in Wakefield, RI where she continued to teach until she was no longer able. Lisa would tell you the most challenging yet fulfilling job she ever experienced was becoming a mom to her son, Ian.

Lisa was an avid writer, adventurer, and artist. She loved to express her thoughts and feelings through art. She would write her heart's words out on paper and sing them in songs. She immersed herself in the religious community at Saint Andrew Lutheran Church in Charlestown where she sang in the band, as well as, the a cappella group Voices of Joy. She was also an active participant in several women's social groups. Whether written on a card, spoken to a struggling friend, or expressed in her singing, Lisa always managed to spread peace and joy, and shine her light to others in the world.

Lisa enjoyed spending time riding her bike, swimming in the ocean, walking along the beach, and hanging out on the boat. The gardens she created around her yurt home will continue to be a memorial to her beautiful spirit.

As per her wishes there will be a service at Saint Andrew Lutheran Church on Saturday April 29, 2023 at 10:00 AM, in Charlestown, Rhode Island, as well as, a celebration of life at a later date.
