Loretta P. Andreozzi passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026 at her home in Johnston, RI, surrounded by family. The daughter of the late Frances (Capece) Lonardo and William Lonardo, she lived in Johnston since 1957, together with her beloved husband, the late William G. Andreozzi and family. Born in Silver Lake, Providence on August 23, 1931, she spent her entire life as a nurturing and loving mother to her two children. She worked with her husband in their costume jewelry business for many years – and also opened a bakery called “Wandis Plus”, she received her real estate license, and learned to played golf -- all in her early 50s. Always active, Loretta especially loved cooking, baking, and hosting, getting together with her many siblings and other family members. She had a special place in her heart for Newbury, NH, where many weekends she learned to downhill ski (also in her 50s) and where she spent time on Lake Sunapee in the summer. She always loved watching NFL and college football on TV with her family. She enjoyed talking about it, and liked a lot of the players stories. She liked Jim Plunkett, Terry Bradshaw and Tim Tebow. In the 90’s she enjoyed traveling with her husband all around New England and New York to watch her son play college football. Loretta had a lot of faith in her religious beliefs and belonged to Holy Cross Church in Providence.

She is survived by her sister Elaine (Lonardo) Iannucci, her two children, Lori (Andreozzi) Shridhare of Arlington, MA, and William G. Andreozzi, Jr, of Johnston, RI, and her grandson Leo Rossi of Barrington, RI. One of seven siblings, she was the sister of the late Bartholomeu Lonardo, William Lonardo Jr, Robert Lonardo, Josephine Ferrante, and Dolores DiSimone. In accordance with Loretta’s wishes, burial next to her husband will be private. In  lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hope Center in Cranston, RI, in honor of all the caregivers who have helped and supported her over the past decade at home.
