Martin Antonio Batista

Martin Antonio Batista, was born on February 12th, 1986, at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan, New York City, to Lucia and Beinvenido Batista. The world unexpectedly lost a gentle, loving soul on November 2nd, 2020, in Providence, RI.

Martin loved his family, friends and playing B Ball. Martin's love for his friends and family knew no bounds, he was caring and considerate and is so missed. He lived in Seattle for a year and has family and friends there that are mourning his passing. Martin’s passion was around his three children (Stephania, Arielle, and Angel). Martin, is very missed, and loved. Martin, had many dreams and goals some of which he managed to meet, some he didn’t. Martin, was a natural comedian, he made Seattle a funnier place when he lived there and his hearty laugh is a light now missing from this earth.

Martin is survived by the following: Lucia and Bienvenido Batista from Providence, older brother Giovany Batista from Providence, oldest sister Yensy Browning of Seattle, Seattle nephew’s: Devin and Derian Browning, Children Stephania, Arielle, and Angel and of course, his many friends and extended family.

Rest in Power our Marty, who gave us many laughs and joy. You are very missed and always loved.
