Mary A. (Phillips) Gosselin Obituary

 

Mary A. (Phillips) Gosselin, 76, of Burrillville, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025, at home with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard A. Gosselin, Sr. whom she married July 30, 1966. Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Blanche M. (Terry) Purnell and the daughter of the late William J. Phillips.


Mary worked for General Motors in Framingham, MA for many years and at CVS Warehouse, Woonsocket, RI where she retired. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved the Red Sox, enjoyed watching in the Kitchen with David on QVC, Cold case files, and playing Jackpot Party on her laptop.


Mary is survived by four children, Lisa Lachapelle and her husband Bruce of Burrillville, RI, Sandra Bonollo and her husband Nello of Uxbridge, MA, Leslie Desrosiers and her husband Matthew of Millville, MA, and Richard Gosselin, Jr., of Burrillville, RI and seven grandchildren, Chantel, Angelia, Breanna, Paige, Matthew Jr., Richard and Alexander and two great grandchildren, Alivia and Harper, as well as, her siblings, John Phillips and his wife Joanne of Clearwater, FL and the late Ina Cox, William Phillips and Annie Philips.


The last few days she was cared for by Hope Health Hospice (Valerie Toure) who truly gave her the upmost care.


A Memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a gift to the Hope Health Hospice Center in Mary’s memory.
