She graduated from Tantasqua Regional High School in 1965 and eventually settled in Warren, Rhode Island. She was a foster parent for a short time and treasured the time she spent with the children.

She had many jobs in her life and mostly enjoyed her time spent as a school bus driver in Newport and her time at the Bristol Phoenix News Paper. She enjoyed road trips to Nettles Island with her mom in the winter and her trips to the casino to seek out her favorite slot machines. She could usually be found with a Dunkins coffee within arm's reach. She enjoyed spending time at Brenton Point in Newport at the kite festival or Colt State Park with family and friends during the many annual cookouts she organized over the years at these amazing parks. She enjoyed lunch dates with her friend Harriet Oliveira and being around people. She loved going out to eat with family or friends and knew all the best places to go. She will be missed by her family and friends and of course Mr. Tickles.
