Patricia Jeanne Booth

Patricia "Patty" Booth of Newport, RI, age 77, passed away on July 21, 2020.

Patty was born in Whitefield, NH to Nathan McClure and Geraldine McClure. Patricia was the widow of John "Jack" Booth of Newport who passed in 2012. Patty is survived by her son Christopher Rondina, younger sister Carol McClure, nieces Elizabeth and Victoria, nephews Robert and Timothy, grandson Corey, and the many other loving family and friends she gathered around her in her lifetime.

Patty chose not to have a public funeral service, and she will be remembered by her loved ones in a private ceremony to be held at a later date when the family can gather safely.

Patty was a loving mother and wife, and well known in Newport as the long-time hostess and shift-leader at restaurants including The Mooring and Castle Hill. Patty was very social, and often opened her home to host dinners and gatherings for her friends. She loved to travel, to cook, and was an avid reader. She was known for her style, her friendly personality, and her easy laugh. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Patricia’s favorite charity was St. Jude's Children's Hospital for anyone wishing to donate in her memory.
