Raymond U. Stebbins 88, of Warren, RI, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025. The son of the late Raymond and Jeanette (Vezina) Stebbins, and the beloved husband of Cecile M. (Aube) Stebbins.

Raymond worked for many years and as a math teacher and retired in 2000 from Portsmouth Abbey School in Portsmouth, RI. Raymond graduated from Boston College with a Bachelors degree in Mathematics where he was the captain of the baseball team. He continued playing baseball in the minor leagues, mostly in Canada. He then continued his education acquiring his Masters in Mathematics from UNH while at the same time getting married and starting a family.

Ray enjoyed watching playing and coaching all sports, Baseball, Basketball and Football. He also enjoyed fishing and later in life, golf. He and Cecile also enjoyed Travelling, and Cruises with friends.

Raymond is survived by his Wife Cecile M. (Aube) Stebbins of Warren, RI., his Daughter Katherine Evans of Tilton, NH, his Daughter Michelle M. (Stebbins) Whitaker of Warren, RI, and was the loving father of his sons, the late Raymond U Stebbins, and the late Curtis M Stebbins both of Warren, RI.

Raymond is also survived by his eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
