Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Deasy 73, of North Smithfield, RI passed away on September 5, 2020 at home surrounded by family. She was born August 4, 1947 in Lynn, Massachusetts.

Elizabeth was an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and lived a life of service. Some of her many roles included girl scout troop leader, PTA president, Sunday School director, hospital chaplain, pastoral counselor, and battered women’s shelter director. Her loving warmth, humor, and prayers are well remembered by all who knew her. Elizabeth was a consummate crafter and leaves the world richer with a wealth of quilts, knitted goods, and other decorative items. Rev. Deasy graduated from Harvard Divinity School in 1991 and previously from Bridgewater State University and attended Norwood Senior High School in Norwood, MA.

She is survived by her sisters Mary (Bob) Pinizzotto, Joan (Jimmie) Robin, and Carolyn (Greg) Pizzuto; children Michael Immonen and Fiona Susie; and grandchildren Noah, Megan, and James; and 2 great grandchildren.
