Richard Hubert Palardy, lovingly known as “Dick,” passed away peacefully on August 16, 2025, at his home in Riverside, Rhode Island, at the age of 83. He is preceded by his wife, Linda, as well as his parents Hubert and Ora Palardy, his sisters Doris Draine and Janet Silvia, and his brother, Norman Palardy. 

Richard lived a life marked by unwavering faith, humor, and devotion to family.  A faithful servant to Christ, Richard found purpose in sharing the Word of God with everyone he met.  Committed to his mission, he touched countless lives with his kindness and determination to help others find the path to salvation.  He and his wife Linda spent much of their free time studying and sharing the Word of God, never letting their search for knowledge waiver.  With Linda’s recent passing, we can rejoice in their reunion in Heaven and their efforts rewarded by eternity with the Lord. 

He loved his family wholeheartedly, and was happiest when someone would have a get together where he could look around and soak up the laughter and love of each and every person.  And even better, make sure the golf match was on television, even if it was muted. This was his perfect day. 

Richard will be greatly missed by his surviving family members: his brother, Alphonse Palardy, his five children and their spouses: Linda (Palardy) Monfils and Al Monfils, Daniel and Debra Palardy, Joanne Buttie, Debra (Palardy) Riccitelli and Rick Riccitelli, and Joslin Palardy.  He also leaves behind twelve grandchildren: Jason, Kristen, Michael, Keagan, Jeffrey, Ryan, Jacob, Zachary, Alexandra, Grace, Jillian and Cory Jr as well as eight great grandchildren: Kendra, Kasandra, Dylan, Brooke, Haisley, Ethan, Emily and Haven.   

We say goodbye to his physical body, knowing that our memories of him will remain forever, and his love and lessons will continue to influence our lives.
