Richard Jay Paris

Richard (Rick) Paris, 82, of Warwick, RI moved on from this life on March 25, 2023. He is survived by his daughter Amy, and his sister Fran. He grew up in Brooklyn, NY, put himself through college and spent much of his life in his beloved San Francisco, CA, and raised a child in Barrington, RI.

He always had a strong sense of conviction, ethics, and morals. In his later years he was able to travel and have many new experiences before falling ill. An independent man and lover of books above all else, he will always be remembered for the thousands of lives he touched as a social worker and later a therapist in private practice. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on through his family and his work.
