Ricky Jayson Campbell

Ricky Jayson Campbell, 41, died on August 24, 2021, at Miriam Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. Born in Providence, he was the son of the Doyce Campbell and the late Ricky Liggins. He was blessed with a son, Ellijah McLean.

Ricky will be remembered for his vibrant spirit and his heart of gold. He was a beloved community member as a lifelong resident of Providence who touched the lives of many. He would give the shirt off his back to help another and expressed his love with humor, selflessness, and empathy. He loved to travel, but always kept in close contact to those he cared for and supported. He also left his mark as a gifted poet and musician; and always had time to cheer on his favorite basketball teams. Ricky will be missed by all.

A Funeral Service will take place Friday, September 3, 2021, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Chapel of Hope and Memory at Swan Point Cemetery, 585 Blackstone Blvd., Providence, RI.

Burial will be private.
