Beloved and sometimes ornery husband of Susan Sekelsky for 45 years, Bob passed away August 15, 2020, after battling multiple medical challenges over many years. Living long past when his warranty was up, Bob kept life interesting for his family, friends and doctors.
Bob worked as a maintenance supervisor at Murdock Webbing for many years. He was an animal lover who also had a passion for freshwater bass fishing and for painting landscapes having been inspired by Bob Ross. He was a colorful storyteller who occasionally 'borrowed' other people's experiences as his own. He had a keen mind, finely honed sense of sarcasm and enjoyed thought-provoking conversations on many topics. Most notably, Bob was an avid student and teacher in the Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research for almost 50 years, pursuing an understanding through science and religion of the Creator's divine pattern and plan which manifests wondrously throughout the universe.
In moving on, Bob also leaves behind a sister, Kimberly Sekelsky of Fairport, NY, a sister, Gillian Parker and her husband Michael, of Calhan, Colorado, a special aunt, Irene Tartaro, numerous cousins, fondly 'acquired' relatives from his wife's side of the family who had a deep affection for Bob, and many good friends.
A remembrance of Bob's life will be private. The family has requested that no flowers be sent.
Please do something of your own choosing that would honor the spirit of Bob's life.
