Robert Townson Obituary

Robert H. "Bobby" Townson, 65, passed away on April 4, 2021, at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Priscilla (Egan) and the late Robert E. Townson; and brother of the late Elizabeth Townson of Pawtucket. Bobby is survived by his sister Tracey Cook of Cumberland and her husband, Joseph and his niece Paige Cook.

Bobby grew up in Pawtucket and was a 1973 graduate of Tolman High School in Pawtucket. For over 30 years, he lived and worked on Block Island in the restaurant industry. He was an avid reader and faithful fan of the Boston Red Sox.

He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and longtime patrons on Block Island.
