Santiago Rodriguez, Jr. entered eternal life on November 6, 2022, in Miami, Florida. He was 36 years old.
He is survived by his son, Santiago N. Rodriguez, III, his loving parents, Keila and Reverend Santiago Rodriguez, his sister, Vimar Rodriguez, his brother, Eufradis Rodriguez, and his niece, Keiviany Rodriguez of Providence, R.I. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Margarita Guillen and maternal grandmother, Iselsa Mercedes Medina and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Santiago, Jr. was a graduate of the Met High School and Dean College. At the Met School, he was a public speaker and traveled in the USA as a spokesperson for the school. At Dean College, he played shortstop on the baseball team, the Bulldogs. After college, he attended Concordia College, New York and University of Mount Olive, North Carolina. Baseball was his dream, and he followed his passion from school to school all the way to the professional level.
One of Santi's greatest gifts was his aura, wherever he goes he leaves an impression and could make a friend out of anyone with only a conversation. He was also a sports and entertainment manager, making connections that would last a lifetime.
Among his many talents & interests was technology; he served as a tech consultant and worked with venture capital firms connecting the tech world with the sports and entertainment world. He was very active in Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and the Youth Hour Program, non-profit organizations, the StepUp Center, Glory Days Day Camp, and serving the homeless and working with people in need in the Providence community.
Funeral arrangements are by Olson & Parent Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 10:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. followed by the funeral service at 1:00 P.M. in Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 15 Hayes Street, Providence, R.I. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Santiago Rodriguez, Jr. to support community work to Gloria Dei Church.

Entre sus muchos talentos e intereses estaba la tecnología; se desempeñó como consultor tecnológico y trabajó con firmas de capital de riesgo conectando el mundo de la tecnología con el mundo del deporte y el entretenimiento. Fue muy activo en la Iglesia Luterana Gloria Dei y el Programa la Hora de la Juventud, organizaciones sin fines de lucro como el Un Paso Adelante, el Campamento dias de GloriaGlory y sirviendo a las personas sin hogar y trabajando con personas necesitadas en la comunidad de Providence.
Los arreglos funerarios están a cargo de Olson & Parent Funeral Home. El velorio se llevará a cabo el sábado 3 de diciembre de 2022, de 10:30 a 12:30 a. m. seguido del funeral a las 13:00 horas. en la Iglesia Luterana Gloria Dei, 15 Hayes Street, Providence, R.I. Se invita a familiares y amigos a asistir. El entierro será privado. En lugar de flores, se pueden hacer donaciones en memoria de Santiago Rodríguez, Jr. para apoyar el trabajo comunitario a la Iglesia Gloria Dei.
