Sarah understood that the greatest gift in life is making others happy.

Sarah Marie Hubel was born in Pensacola, Florida on January 17th 1983, to two loving parents, Jack and Susan Wiley. "Rock and Roll" Jack would give Sarah her great sense of humor, while artsy Susan would give Sarah her love for God. Sarah prayed for a younger sister and God responded by giving her the most resourceful hands-on brother any sister could ask for in Matt Wiley. At the age of four, her family moved to Rotterdam, NY where she grew up and met her lifelong best friend Tif, on the first day of first grade. Twenty years later, Sarah graduated as an Occupational Therapist from Quinnipiac University. Her gentle spirit and beautiful smile allowed her to bring joy and love to countless patient's lives.

In life you can spot an imitation by seeing the genuine. Sarah clearly stood out from every other person I had ever met through the love in her heart. I knew early on that I could never let her go. Together we loved adventures, not only for the destination but also for the fact it was just the two of us. We savored the whimsical atmosphere of New Orleans, the mouthwatering food of Italy and the stunningly lovely land of Israel. My happiness-forever moment was watching my beautiful wife swim under the stars in the Sea of Galilee. Thank you for saving my life and giving me 10 beautiful years of marriage and many more before that:
"No, we don't accomplish our love in a single year as the flowers do;
an immemorial sap flows up through our arms when we love." Rilke

Every ounce in her being wanted to be a mom. Through many prayers and tears, Sarah experienced her happiness-forever moment when Emma Marie Hubel entered this world on May 8th, 2015. God blessed us a second time when Elijah Jack Thomas Hubel arrived on Valentines Day of 2017. Sweet Emma is a spitting image of Sarah and precious Elijah is a close replica of her brother, Matt. Sarah was, is and will continue to be the best mom these kids could have ever asked for. Our family's happiness-forever moment was watching fireworks, while eating soft pretzels, outside of the Dumbo ride after a magical day at Disney.

Her family camp at Lake Winnipesaukee, NH was Sarah's happiest place in life. She spent almost every summer of her life there; swimming, laughing, making friends and picking blueberries on the blueberry path. At "Puckerbrush" she was surrounded by those she loved most, her sweet Mema and Papa, her wise Uncle Dexter and Aunt Joan, and her warmhearted cousins Nicholas and Mitch. Our happiness-forever moment in NH was kayaking as a family, one beautiful morning two summers ago, and watching a mother and father loon feed their babies little silver fish. We would say "Ummm would you like another silver fish?" Emma and Elijah would giggle.

Thank you to all the prayer warriors and every single one of our friends who showed us so much love with your time and compassion during this journey.

"Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted." Matthew 5:4

In lieu of flowers, we request that everyone who reads this obituary do an act of selfless love for either a random stranger, a friend or loved one that needs forgiveness or a loving word.
