Stephen Marshall Morris

Stephen Morris, 68, beloved Son, Father, Brother, Uncle, and Friend was called to his eternal resting place on January 18, 2023. He entered this world on August 14,1954 in Woonsocket, RI, born to Russell Morris and Louisa Morris (Denault). He was preceded in death by his brother Russell Morris, and sisters Cheryl Morris-Poles and Martha Louise Morris. He is survived by his mother Louisa Richards; daughter Stephaine Morris and her spouse Joseph Loiselle, daughter Alysha Ballou and her husband Jeremie Ballou, brother Michael Morris and his wife Kathleen Morris, brother James Morris, brother John Morris and wife Bonny Morris, and brother Patrick Morris and his late wife Elizabeth Morris. He was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews, and dear friend to so many.

Stephen served in the Navy from September 29, 1972 to April 28, 1975. Stephen was a licensed arborist in his younger years, and ran his own business “Morris Tree and Landscaping.” He ended his career serving veterans at the VA Hospital in Providence, RI and retired in 2020. Stephen loved to play cards, go bowling, fishing and watch football. He was an avid gardener and lover of plants. He loved telling life stories and cracking jokes. He will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of life will be held on February 11, 2023
