Mrs. Theresa Lamontagne, age 93, passed away on February 19, 2023, in her home that she loved dearly.

Theresa was born in Woonsocket, RI, to the late Antonio Dauphinais and Albina Dauphinais, and married Richard Lamontagne of Woonsocket, RI, after WWII.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Richard E. Lamontagne, and son, Paul R. Lamontagne, all her siblings, and leaves an only child, a daughter, Pauline Shipp and several grandchildren

Theresa loved flea markets, interior design, tending to her property, eating out with friends, enjoying a leisurely Sunday afternoon drive, but her long-standing love, was ballroom dancing. You could always find her in her golden years, at the Cock N Kettle senior dancing hall, and across various Massachusetts and Rhode Island gala events with friends.

She was witty, strong-minded, loved reading, was a wonderful cook, and loved dressing in costume with her dancing partners. She lived for the next dance and sharing dance moves with newbies.

There will be no hours of visitation. Theresa will be buried in St John's Cemetery, North Smithfield RI, alongside her late husband and son.
