Thomas Stephen Richardson

Thomas Stephen Richardson of Providence, Rhode Island died peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones after a long battle with COPD. Tom leaves behind a loving wife, Barbara, of 47 years, Daughter Teresa from Berkley, MA, son Tommy, from Brockton, MA, step-daughter Michelle and her husband, Marshall Johnson both from Manchester, NH. Thomas also leaves behind three beautiful grandchildren, Skyla Marmorstein, Dylan Morse from Berkley, MA, and Serena Brandt from Rhode Island.

Tom was born in Boston to the late Robert Richardson and the late Nellie Cole Richardson. He leaves behind his loving sister Jean Finlayson from Middleboro, MA and her late husband Donald. Tom was the late brother of James from Revere and his wife, Gail. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends and in-laws.

After growing up in Boston and attending high school he joined the Navy and was a crash firefighter during the Vietnam era. Later he worked at St. Patrick's Parish for over ten years. He was a great influence to many while hosting a virtual Christian site for AA. He was loyal, dependable and an inspiration to all.

The family would like to give a huge thank you to the great staff at Hope Hospice. The loving care the gave should and made it possible to respect Tom's wishes to stay home.

Tom loved life. We will be having a celebration of life Friday, September 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater MA.
