Thomas John Harris Obituary

Thomas John Harris, 89, beloved Father, was called to his eternal resting place on December 11, 2020. He entered this world on August 6, 1931 in Providence, RI. He was the son of the late Theodore and Myrtle Harris. He resided for the past 20 years in Providence, RI and previously was a long time resident of East Providence, RI. Thomas served in the United States Navy from 1950-1954.

He is survived by his four daughters, Sandra Johnson (Florida), Cynthia Canada (Michigan), Barbara Williams (Texas), and Brenda Harris (Rhode Island) and one son Thomas John Harris Jr (Massachusetts). He was the grandfather of 19 grandchild and the grandfather of the late Trevor Harris. A great grandfather of 38 grandchildren (twins due in April) and a great, great grandfather of 6 grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Theodore Harris Jr, Priscilla N. Jones, Gilbert N. Harris, and Delia Gonzales. He leaves behind a host of relatives, family and friends.

A memorial service will be held privately.
