It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Travis L. Purvis, 51, Warwick, RI on Monday, May 10, 2021.

Born on June 6, 1969, to parents Franklin L. Purvis and Carol Ann Purvis of Warwick, RI, Travis is survived by his sons Allyn Purvis, John Purvis, as well as sisters Tracy and husband, David Giarrusso and sister, Angel Purvis and wife, Maria Tarro.

Travis was a force of nature who enjoyed working as a self-employed auto mechanic. Anyone who knew Travis knew he had a kind heart and was a gentle giant, who enjoyed playing pool with friends and family.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Friday, May 21 anytime from 1:00 p.m -- 3:00 p.m. at Sophia's Tuscan Grille located at 1729 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, RI 02889.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choosing.
