Wendy Anne Daniels Obituary

Wendy Egglefield Daniels, born November 28, 1952, passed away peacefully, after her long battle with cancer, on January 26, 2023, in her Jamestown, Rhode Island home.

She is survived by her husband, George Bergeson, Jr. better known as Judd, her dog, Riley, her cat, Sammy and her fish, Cyclops. She is also survived by her three sisters, Deidre, Patricia and Kari, as well as many nieces and nephews who she loved from afar. She is predeceased by her parents, Meredith and Spencer Daniels Jr and her brother, Dennis.

Wendy had an infectious laugh, causing everyone around her to laugh with her. She was a kind soul, a loyal friend, confident and a fierce defender of right and wrong.

Wendy worked for many years in the restaurant business. When she and Judd moved to Rhode Island from Washington State, she began employment at Foxwood Resort, where she later retired.

Wendy loved all creatures, great and small. Her deck and trees are filled with bird houses, feeders and squirrel feeders. She and Judd nurtured and maintained a beautiful rose garden in the yard.

Wendy did not fear dying, as so many of her friends, family and pets were already there to greet her in the end. She lived simply and loved fully.

No formal services will be held at this time. If you would life to honor Wendy's memory, please make a donation in her name to a local animal shelter.
