Cremation Chapel Service

A chapel service allows for family and friends to gather in the presence of their loved one before the cremation takes place. If the green package is selected, families gather in the Chapel of Hope and Memory on the grounds of Swan Point Cemetery. This non-denominational chapel can accommodate 50 or more people and is where family comes together to reflect upon a life lived.

The service is designed by the family and may be religious or spiritual, as well as private and intimate or open to all. The gathering occurs with the body present in a closed casket before the body is cremated. The Swan Point Cremation Chapel is provided free of charge for one hour for cremations taking place at Swan Point Cemetery.
